Italian Meatballs

I promise you there’s so much good wrapped up in this bowl of pasta. The Italian Meatballs, were the superstar though, because the ingredients ensured they turned out tasting flavorful, light and savory. There are so many delicious sensations going on here and you’ll see why when I tell you what’s in my Italian meatballs. I confess, I was eating this as I was writing, all while trying not to get any pasta sauce on my winter white velour pants. The flavors were so good, I just kept going it, bite after bite. I made these for dinner yesterday as part of this weeks menu plan. I am not a big time meat eater unless it’s cooked a certain way. For me to eat meat, [Click here to continue reading]

How to Make a Perfume Tray

This super easy perfume tray tutorial and shopping trip has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GiftingAMemory #CollectiveBias I’m just going to let it be known, that if you buy me a fragrance gift I’m going to love it.  It’s my mother’s fault. She started buying me perfume and jewelry as gifts at a young age and it always stuck with me. I remember the first jewelry box she bought me from the mall that had my name on it. It was so pretty and made me feel feminine and girly. Her gifting style rubbed off on me, because as an adult, I tend to buy the girls in my family the same kinds of gifts.  All of the [Click here to continue reading]

How to Make a Canvas Travel Tote

The super, fun creation of my Canvas Travel Tote tutorial, supplies and shopping trip has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GiftOfPhilips #CollectiveBias One of the things that attracted me to my husband when we met was his get up and go. When we met, we’d drive all over the place. I was new to the state and he’d take me everywhere in and out of state. We visited the Great Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg several times in the first few years of our marriage and I just loved his zeal for travel. Once our family grew, traveling slowed down, but now that they are older, we’ve started hitting the road more often. We have a holiday [Click here to continue reading]

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CraftAmazing #CollectiveBias I am seriously in love with my new mini journal.  Those of you who follow ApronsAndStilletos on Instagram, know that I’m a planner/journaling geek. I love writing things down, making lists and keeping things organized.  I have a bazillion notebooks, but not a teeny-tiny one small enough to fit in my handbags. I was going to buy one but, decided to make one instead, that way it would be exactly what I wanted. With the help of my friends at Scotch® and their amazing product, my mini journal was beyond easy to make and customize. The colorful selection of Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape let me turn this boring everyday cereal box [Click here to continue reading]

DIY Framed Greeting Card

It doesn’t always take a lot of money to create beauty in your home. Over the years, I’ve challenged myself to find frugal ways to decorate my home. We were a one income family, by choice, for years while my children were young. We didn’t have a decor budget so I had to be really creative in my efforts to decorate my home. I picked up on an inexpensive way to fill spaces with framed art using greeting cards. There are so many pretty ones on the market, but I’ve never had to buy one for this type of project. Over the years, I’ve been gifted some of the nicest cards and I hated to have them sitting in a closet tucked away.  One day, I thought [Click here to continue reading]

Fun Cereal Storage Idea

This super fun cereal storage idea for #The7thMinion cereals has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.  My kids are out of town for a few days, and I want to surprise them with a fun breakfast when they get back. I went by Walmart to buy cereal and it led to, the purchase of new bowls, utensils, storage containers and serving ware. I know I’m not the only one who goes to Walmart and does that. I went in to grab some cereal for the week and one thing led to another. I left the store with some new kitchen goodies and a fun idea to store the cereal. To store each box of cereal, I used a [Click here to continue reading]
