How to Create an Ebook in Canva

How to Create an Ebook in Canva
Everybody wants to create ebooks these days and I can see why. Ebooks are bomb.com. They allow us to create, distribute and even receive information digitally which is a win since we live in a digital age.

The ability to create ebooks, also allows us to create books with little to no cost. That's revolutionary for those of us who have amazing content to share, but don't have access to a publishing house.

I've made thousands of dollars from the sale of ebooks I've created and didn't pay a penny to create them. All it took was access to a publication tool, expertise on a topic, time to write and market my creation.

When I tell you it's easy to create an ebook using Canva I mean it. You can use Canva and have a 28 page ebook ready for distribution within a few days.

To show you how simple it is, I filmed a video on my channel of the process -- from start to finish -- in my Canva dashboard. The video will show you the steps to create your on ebook.

How to Track Blog Income Using Spreadsheets

How to Track Blog Income Using Spreadsheets
When I started blogging in 2008, you couldn't have convinced me it would be a tool for replacing my income.

Fast forward eight years, and I'm showing other bloggers how to make money blogging and run their digital businesses from anywhere in the world.

One of the most important things any blogger should do when starting out is, decide whether they will blog as a business or hobby. If you choose the latter, then you should begin tracking every penny you earn from day one.

Today I'm going to show you how to do that using a spreadsheet.

How to make pretty planner clips using washi tape

There are so many cute and useful stationary products on the market right now. I can seriously go into any stationary store and easily blow 1,000 pennies on a few stationary items at least once a week, but once in a while I like to get creative and make my own.

How to Create A Budget plus Printable Budget Sheets

At the end of every month Germaine and I sit down and create a new budget for the coming month.

We do what's called a zero based budget. We assign a purpose to every dollar of our pay check on paper before the month starts. Whether saving, eliminating debt, paying bills or spending, we decide before we're paid.

We assign a purpose to every dollar on our monthly budget sheet, then update the sheet each week as we're paid.

What Journals and Planners Do I Use Everyday?

What journals and planners do I use every day?

That's a great question because it may seem like I use a lot, but I don't.

Each of my planners and journals are strategically chosen to help me manage my life.

I have two binder and two journals I use every week. They are mentioned in order from top to  bottom according to the following picture.

How to Use a Habit Tracker

How to Use a Habit Tracker
Now is the perfect time to set some goals and implement a system for tracking success.

An easy way to track actions that get you closer to a goal is by using a habit tracker.

In a nutshell, my system is the daily tracking of actionable steps toward a new habit.

Do It Yourself Frugal Framed Art Ideas

I love decorating my home with pretty stuff just as much as the next gal, but I don't intend on breaking the bank to do it.
Before I spend money on home decor items I search my Instagram 'likes' archive or my Pinterest boards for ideas on how I can recreate what I want for less.
For instance, I wanted to create a gallery wall so instead of buying brand new frames and

Creating To-Do List for Your Kids

Do you ever realize you're repeating instructions for your children way more than you should?

I've found myself in that position more times than I liked and knew something needed to change. Whenever I'd ask them why they didn't complete a task they'd been assigned, they'd tell me they didn't hear me tell them to do it.

I got tired of repeating tasks and decided to creat to-do list for them. It took the responsibilty of managing their chores off my shoulders and allowed them to take responsibility for their chores.

Shower Caddy Tour

I'm absolutely a 'me time' snob. I just gotta have it. Whether a hour once a week to do my nails or take a hot bubble bath, I am just more at peace after pampering myself.

My pampering starts with the products in my shower caddy. They are the ones that go on my skin and I use most often. What I use on my skin is super important to me and is directly connected to how smooth and silky my skin is.

Each month I rotate out the products I'm using for different scents and such. What I use depends on the season and how I'm feeling at the start of the month, but regardless of what I use the goal is to make me feel, and smell fabulous.

Neutral Makeup Look for Mothers Day

Today's fabulous neutral look is achieved using some of my favorite drugstore products. Right now Physicians Formula products are my go-to the natural make-up look. I absolutely love how light and gentle they are on my skin.

The color pallets are so-so perfect I can't even tell you. PF absolutely got it right when they made these pigments and they are the one I go-to first when shopping for drugstore makeup.

For this look I am using a new foundation and as of the making of this video, I love it. I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Mocha and Coconut and girrrrrl....the combination on my skin is the bomb dot comb.

How To Organize a Nightstand or End Table

Remember those Campaigner Nightstands I found at the Goodwill and restored?
(click to see the complete makeover)
I've been meaning to show you how I organize them when I was using them as nightstand tables, but never got around to it. I did create a mini tutorial on Instagram, but wanted to go a little more in depth with a real video.

What I Got for Christmas | Christmas Haul

I can hardly believe January is almost over. It feels like Christmas was just a few days ago.

They say when you get older, time seems to go faster and that's no lie. Before we head into February, my birthday month, I want to share what I got for Christmas.

We are still working through our debt freedom plan so we don't spend a whole lot of money on holidays. We set a small gift budget for each person on our list, we save throughout the year and don't go above it unless of course it's a gift for my grandson. My husband went above our gift limit, but I'll give him a pass.

DIY Target Accent Table Hack

It's been a few weeks since I've shared a project with you guys, mostly because we were finishing up our master bedroom floor install. I'll share more about the before, during and after install once I get time to upload and edit the photos.

In the meantime, let me show you what I did to that damaged table I bought from Target.

Y'all already know how I like to scour the clearance sections, especially the one at Target, and find nice things for my home, so when I saw this cute table I instantly knew it would be a great fit for my reading nook, but it wasn't the right color, plus it was damaged.

Natural Hair: Pin-Up Protective Style Tutorial

I pretty much would love to wear my hair in a Pin-Up protective style every day of the week if possible. My hair is so much healthier when I do plus it stays moisturized longer between weekly washes.

It wasn't my desire for healthier hair, but the weather, that inspired this style. I planned to wear a twist out, but it's been rainy and muggy this week.

Before styling my hair, it was in five flat twists done in a downward direction starting at the crown of my head.

After massaging out the hair separations created from the flat twists, I began pinning my hair up section by section.

In my video I show how easy it was to create this pin-up protective style. To stay up to date with my latest videos, be sure to subscribe to my You Tube channel.
